MUSIC for ISOLATION ~ A Tokyo Christmas ~
An evening of Old European Christmas readings and music.
Join us at Kirakudow, the beautiful 100 year-old farmhouse hidden away in a woods in Toshimaen, as we sit by the wood fire listening to traditional ghost stories (with English subtitles) and ancient carols with a cup or two of delicious mulled wine.
MUSIC for ISOLATION is the Tokyo-based duo of Rie Takeuchi (baritone saxophone) and Gideon Juckes (tuba). Intimate music, ancient and new, at the crossroads of folk, classical, improvisation, innovation and tradition.
